First Starmind user to achieve partner level

Starmind congratulates Hecke Schrobsdorff to be the first Starmind user to achieve Partner Level within the Starmind know-how company. The prestigious rank is a result from over hundred excellent solutions handed in and various awards achieved on Starmind.
Hecke was invited to the Starmind Headquarter end of July 26, 2011 where Marc Vontobel and Pascal Kaufmann expressed their respect and acknowledgement.

…modesty. No, seriously, I can not imagine anything on my scientific path that would be eligible for a Nobel price.

…self-motivation. Often, I need someone else to become productive.

…I like to help others. Also I appreciate the affirmation that I really learned stuff that is of interest to others.

…Care about my children, crawl the web for crazy pics, play underwaterrugby with my first leagues team, oh sometimes I work.

…there will be either a lot of working alternatives for using coal, gas or uranium to produce electricity, or no lights due to the lack of resources.

7.) If I ruled the world…
…it would be even more chaotic than now. I would socialize the most important commercial sectors, provide free access to health care, any form of education and knowledge and public transportation, and ban money. Than I would look for smart people that deal with the consequences.

Marc Vontobel graduated from University of Zurich in Computer Science with specialization in Software Engineering.

As an entrepreneur, Marc Vontobel has founded several organisations such as Clubzone Management Tools or Purple Leaf, providing him with applied experience in software development, user interface design, web usability and social networks.

Marc Vontobel designed www.starmind.com  and developped and introduced the Starmind Artificial Neural Network, a network based on a unique combination of efficient database algorithms and intelligent neural network architecture. “The intelligent neural network enables an efficient mapping of experts worldwide, which allows forming groups of experts. The network memorises the created structures (“Know-How Hotspots”) while the allocation of know-how and questions is continuously optimised”, he explains his creation.

Eva Francis is Head of Starmind Quality and in charge of all customer care tasks.

She is in her last year studying translation at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur, specializing in Multilingual Communication. Eva has a great interest in languages, striving for a following Masters in Interpretation. Therefore, she also takes over some translation and communication tasks.

Starmind Portrait: Pascal Kaufmann

Pascal Kaufmann is founder, CEO and chairman of the board of directors of Starmind. His focus lies on business development, branding and the growth of Starmind in selected target segments.

Pascal Kaufmann graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) in Biology and IT, receiving his masters degree in Biology with specialization in Neurosciences. He carries out research at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in Oerlikon, focussing on biological and artificial neural networks, consciousness research, cyborg technology, humanoid robotics, virtual reality, bio ethics, modern philosophy, innovation management, crowdsourcing and know-how trading. He also is an active user of Starmind:
