A few hours before this article was published, Starmind IT has upgraded Starmind to a new, powerful version. This makes Starmind faster, easier and more comfortable to use than ever before. Let us show you how you can get the most out of the new features:

Newest server technology
Starmind is now hosted on its own server making it way faster: We have measured up to 8x faster page loading times! Prominent examples include the question browse page (4-5x faster), the home page (3-4x faster) and profiles (6-7x faster). Cutting edge concepts meet cutting edge technology – now you get the best of both.

Smart Browse question list
A new smart list remembers all of your choices and takes you right to where you left off. Browsing questions has just gotten faster and much more user friendly thanks to several Starmind inputs we received and implemented.

Sort questions the way YOU want
The new Starmind version allows you to sort questions by category, language, type of question or even by question poser. You can also use smart search terms such as AND and OR to include or exclude certain keywords. On the browse questions page click “Advanced search” and unleash the full searching and sorting power!

Details matter!
Besides these main improvements, the overall stability of the system was improved and a few more small comfort features were introduced such as the “Stay logged in” checkbox. Once checked and logged in, you will no longer need to log in on every visit but are logged in automatically (don’t use this function if you are working on a public computer!).
