Starmind has launched today a new version of the Starmind portal. Various amendments provide the foundation for upcoming significant releases with focus on usability, competition and the implementation of know-how trading functionalities. Starmind solutions are generally of very high quality, however, set out rewards often range between EUR 3.- and EUR 300.- Starmind’s specific focus on talent networks, high-IQ societies and leading universities and research institutions called for a more scalable system.

A new rating system allows both question solvers and question poser to comment on the behavior of the other party. Track records are available for 1, 3 and 12 months allowing for a careful assessement of the user before a trade of know-how is initiated.

Here is a summary of upgrades:

• Design:
  New Starmind Web 2.0 Logo, complying with international webstandards; new color scheme; new design elements; adjustable banners
• Functionality:
  Completely worked over and simplified rating system; better invitation functionality
• Administration:
  Novel artificial neural network architecture grounding on improved algorithms, piloting new weights distribution system and circuitry; full-fledged user management and trend analysis feature; talent localizer functions
• Community:
  Improved communication tools
